International Resource Recycling System

As a manufacturer responsible for all the life stages of its products, Fuji Xerox has been involved in building the Integrated Recycling System in Japan.

In December, 2004, led by the conviction that we must also be responsible for reducing environmental impact in the Asia-Pacific Region as well as in Japan, where we operate, Fuji Xerox launched the Integrated Recycling System covering the Asia-Pacific region, with a recycling center based in Thailand. At the recycling center, we now collect used office equipments and cartridges from nine countries and region in the Asia-Pacific and recycle them completely.
As we launched the Integrated Recycling System in the Asia-Pacific, we also began our preparations for the similar system that covers China.

And, in 2008, Fuji Xerox will inaugurate the Integrated Recycling System in China, where used office equipments and cartridges collected from throughout China^* are completely recycled, in order to achieve "zero landfill" , "no pollution" , and "no illegal disposal" .

• *The collection and recycling of used products in Hong Kong and Macao are covered by Fuji Xerox's Asia-Pacific integrated recycling system in Thailand. Fuji Xerox Taiwan Corporation constructs and operates its individual recycling system due to the cross-boundary movement regulation on used electrical and electronic equipment.
