As a manufacturer responsible for all the life stages of its products, Fuji Xerox has built involved in building the Integrated Recycling System in Japan as well as in the Asia-Pacific Region.
And, in 2008, Fuji Xerox will inaugurate the Integrated Recycling System in China, building the system with the same quality as those in Japan and the Asia-Pacific.
With the collection and recycling system covering all of China*, the industry-first effort, Fuji Xerox aims to achieve “zero landfill”, “no pollution”, and “no illegal disposal”. By doing so, Fuji Xerox in determined to contribute to the environment as well as resources conservation in China.
In addition to reducing environmental risk such as illegal disposal, contamination, and pollution, the system will provide China with benefits, including utilizing recycled materials and spurring a new style of industry.

Basic Rules for Integrated Recycling System in China

Fuji Xerox will build and introduce a high-quality recycling system equivalent to those in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.

(1) We will build a system that collects products from all across China.
(2) We will take responsibility, as a manufacturer, for building recycling systems based on global standards.

　[1] We will implement thorough disassembly and analysis of collected products to achieve zero landfill.
　[2] We will aim to achieve high-quality recycling and a higher recycling rate to supply China with more recycled resources.
　[3] We will aim to prevent illegal disposal by building tracking system and implementing thorough supervision.
　[4] We will introduce environmental and health/safety management through the recycling process.
　[5] We will guarantee the quality of products (cartridges) that incorporate reused parts.
