At Fuji Xerox-Promotion of Zero Emission (at Our Offices)

Towards Achieving Zero Emission at Our Offices

Photo of Garbage separation area in an office at our new headquartersWaste produced at our offices is strictly managed from the point when they are produced until they are ultimately disposed of, and together with reducing the amount of garbage that is produced, it is necessary to prevent illegal landfills while at the same time, making them able to be reused as resources.

At Fuji Xerox, we are making recycling easy by thoroughly dividing the garbage that is generated in our offices. We are involved in approaches for zero emission activities in aiming for a landfill rate of 0%.

Separation of Garbage into 18 Categories

At our headquarters, we have been progressing with efforts for zero emissions by dividing the garbage that is generated in our office into 10 different categories. When we moved our headquarters into a new building in January 2007, however, we took this opportunity to sort our garbage into 18 different categories, and are working towards zero emissions by increasing the recycling rate.

18 categories for wastes (Non-industrial wastes)
