History of Fuji Xerox(1960-1980)

1962 Fuji Photo Film and Rank Xerox establish Fuji Xerox as a joint venture, capitalized at 200 million yen (equity ratio: 50/50).
Launches the Fuji Xerox 914.
1965 Enters the Philippines market, and later establishes a joint venture or appoints agents in other AP regions.
1966 Opens Xerox Knowledge Inn showroom.
1969 Establishes showroom at its headquarters.

1962 Launches the Fuji Xerox 914.
1970 Launches the Beautiful Campaign.
1971 Acquires Takematsu Plant and Iwatsuki Plant from Fuji Photo Film and Iwatsuki Kohki, respectively, to establish an integrated manufacturing and sales organization.
Ebina Plant begins operations.
1974 Increases capitalization to 10 billion yen.
1975 Begins TV broadcasting of "The Special by Xerox."
1977 Establishes The Setsutaro Kobayashi Memorial Fund.
1979 Establishes Fuji Xerox Office Supply Co., Ltd.
Establishes sales subsidiaries in major prefectures in Japan with local capital, and later expands to comprise a nationwide network.

1983 Launches the Fuji Xerox 1100SIP super PC for artificial intelligence (AI) development.
