Reducing environmental impact at the offices of customers is a major responsibility of corporations. This section introduces Fuji Xerox's initiatives of reducing environmental impact including “initiatives to prevent global warming through products” and “initiatives to conserve natural resources through products.”

To minimize the impact Fuji Xerox products have on global warming, we are carrying out energy-saving initiatives throughout our lineup of products, thereby reducing environmental impact in both the hardware and software aspects of our activities.

To conserve natural resources, Fuji Xerox established a companywide policy of approaching as close to “zero landfill” as possible and promoting the reuse of resources. While implementing this policy, we keep in mind all stages of the product lifecycle, from planning and design to procurement and recycling. This same policy is being applied to our operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
