A Study on the Slip Transfer Mechanism

Abstract

This report describes the phenomena of mis-color registration caused by the slip transfer between photoreceptor and paper, intermediate belt and roll. In this study, it was numerically and experimentally clarified that the displacement error of images transferred on a paper, belt and roll becomes independent of the geometric runout, diameter and mean velocity of photoreceptor and the synchronization between a pitch of the angular velocity disturbance of photoreceptor and that of from imaging point to transfer point is extremely significant.
