Abstract

FX has released the world's fastest sheet-fed xerography color printer, Color DocuTech 60 (DocuColor 2000 Series by Xerox Corporation), that will pioneer the on-demand printing market. The key technologies adopted in this product are Laser Xerography 4-tandem Engines and Intermediate Belt Transfer (IBT). The purpose of this document is to explain the benefits of this product, Higher Image Quality, Wider Media Latitude, and Lower Operating Costs, in details with introduction of the following individual technologies that realize the production printer which would respond to the requirements in printing industry up to date:

• For Higher Image Quality: Screen technology, New Process Control technology and Registration Control technology
• For Wider Media Latitude: Image Transfer technology using IBT, Air-assist Paper Feeding technology, and Belt Nip Fuser technology
• For Lower Operating Cost: Trickle Development Technology, New small-diameter toner
