DocuPrint C525A achieves high quality print output as a small and lightweight A4-size printer based on a 4-cycle color engine which employs a newly developed "elastic intermediate transfer belt and wrap transfer technology." This engine adopts an elastic rubber belt as an intermediate media that replace the conventional polyimide belt. The C525A utilizes a single-unit consumable cartridge comprising a photoconductive drum and intermediate belt, in which users only have to change toner and drum cartridges.
