Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., commoditized the Free Belt Nip Fuser as a fuser for color images and is applicable to a wide range of low- and high-speed products. Recently, prices of A4 color printers, including all-in-one products in both in Japan and overseas markets, have dropped rapidly, encouraging a wide and steady spread of distributed products in offices and elsewhere. However, explosive market growth has imposed stricter limits on size and energy use, including measures against global warming, leading to fierce competition. To satisfy market demands, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., developed and commoditized the Free Belt Nip Fuser, which has resulted in smaller products that use less energy.
