Since 1991 under its philosophy of being "The Document Company," Fuji Xerox (FX) has developed software products (DocuWorks, PrintXchange, ArcSuite) by applying document technologies that regard human knowledge as a "document."
Beginning in 2000, FX has also provided various solutions for solving customer issues by integrating software and hardware products. By analyzing customer solutions and summarizing things from a technical perspective, we can categorize items into four configuration patterns: (1) output through mission-critical systems, (2) DC-BPM(Document Centric-Business Process Management), (3) contents management, and (4) security & network. FX is now developing efficient solutions by combining modules based on the four patterns above.
This paper introduces the main software and solution technologies we have utilized for this purpose.
