This report introduces the mobile applications used on mobile devices to handle documents. Along with the growing use of smart phones and tablet devices, Fuji Xerox has created mobile applications that enable the easy use of conventional devices and services for handling documents from mobile devices.
Specifically, this report introduces mobile applications for using office multifunction devices and printers, print services in an arcade environment, and document-handling applications, and also describes their usability and application linkage. Mobile devices and applications can facilitate a flexible work style that goes beyond office boundaries, thereby changing conventional work styles and how documents are used. The mobile applications introduced in this report represent the first step toward enabling that change.
