TOKYO, March 30, 2009 — Fuji Xerox InterField Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., which operates E-QIX (pronounced “ee-quicks”), a corporate-membership online office supply shopping site, will reinforce its services and product lineup starting April 2009. In addition to redesigning the E-QIX website, it increases the number of items on offer.

Aimed at providing practical information for users, the login page (front page) of the E-QIX website will consist of the following new features: (1) introduction of brand-name, recommended consumables; (2) introduction of recommended paper that is suitable for the purpose to leverage Fuji Xerox multifunction devices and printers; (3) instructions for using E-QIX services with facility; and (4) fun and entertaining widgets unique to e-commerce websites.

At the time of its launch in January 2008, E-QIX offered some 20,000 items online, which has since been gradually increasing, and from this April, the site will offer approximately 27,000 items. In particular, the range of Fuji Xerox brand, recommended consumables will be enhanced. The renewed site will also feature an improved search function for better usability; For example, toner cartridges and other consumables required for a particular model of Fuji Xerox laser printers will be easily identified. FUJIFILM brand consumables for FUJIFILM Corporation's broadsheet printing machines were also added to enhance the lineup of items suitable for products manufactured by Group companies.

In the 2009 E-QIX Product Catalogue Vol. 2 issued on March 17, customer feedback was reflected in decision to include a navigation feature in the catalogue, which enables quick product searches. The revised catalogue also allows customers to find environmentally-friendly products more easily, since additional information is listed for items certified with the Eco Mark by Japan Environment Association, and Green Mark by Paper Recycling Promotion Center, as well as for products conforming to the criteria specified in the Law on Promoting Green Purchasing. In addition, 21 new items of eight product categories will be offered at a special price for a limited time (from April 1 through end of June 2009) to celebrate the issue of the E-QIX Product Catalogue Vol. 2.

E-QIX offers a wide range of products centering on the most appropriate supplies, including paper, for Fuji Xerox multifunction devices and printers at prices available only on E-QIX. Seeking to link with Fuji Xerox's various services, it will continue with its efforts to improve the site's features and contents using customer feedback.
