Office Waste Management Development of a legal compliance management structure (domestic & overseas) Operated the legal compliance system for waste management at domestic sales locations Goal achieved
Reduction of Environmental Risks from Chemical Substances Products   Strengthen management toward reducing risk of chemical substances, such as complying with RoHSNote 3/REACHNote 4 Provided capacity building for those who are in charge of chemical substances at the new FXHP plant Goal achieved
Fuji Xerox sites   Launch a chemical substance management system (in Japan) Management of the system based on the chemical substances management rules established for consolidated and global companies Goal achieved
Ecosystem and Biodiversity Conservation Products   Expand overseas audits to ensure compliance with the Paper Procurement Regulation Standards Improved an audit system for overseas paper suppliers to comply with the Paper Procurement Regulation Standards Goal unachieved
  • Note : Goal achieved
    : Goal unachieved
  • Note 1 From 2015, the CO2 emissions are calculated based on the annual average for all power sources announced by the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan for Japanese operations data, and based on the latest version of CO2 Emissions from Fuel Combustion (IEA) published by the OECD for overseas operations data
  • Note 2 3Rs: An initiative to Reduce resource consumption and then repeatedly Reuse whatever can be reused and Recycle when it can no longer be reused.
  • Note 3 RoHS: An EU directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances. Implemented on July 1, 2006. It restricts the use of six hazardous substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE)) in the manufacturing of electronic and electrical equipment marketed in the EU. On June 4, 2015, the following four hazardous substances were additionally included in the restriction target: Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP); butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP); dibutyl phthalate (DBP); and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP).
  • Note 4 REACH: Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals. This EU environmental regulation for chemicals was implemented in June 2007. It requires all companies manufacturing or importing chemical substances into the EU in quantities of one ton or more per year to investigate the effects of the substances on humans and the environment and to register the substances with the European Chemicals Agency.
